The "Cosmétique Végétale®"

The "Cosmétique Végétale®" is a contract Yves Rocher passed between vegetal and women; it's a commitment to offer a unique, incomparable cosmetic based on 5 active principles coming from universal values of nature:

Principle #1: The vegetal as the only conduct line

The vegetal is at the heart of every Yves Rocher products, containing no collagen, no synthetic sun protection, and no ingredients coming from animals. Moreover, ingredients are always extracted and processed naturally and the use of synthetic components, like paraben, is kept to its minimum.

Principle #2: The vegetal as the only source of inspiration

Yves Rocher has its own botanical garden in Brittany where they study more than 1,000 vegetal species, and cultivate more than 30 plants in their own fields. 20 research teams are dedicated to vegetal innovation, finding new active principles every year.




Principle #3: Understanding the vegetal

Knowing the nature is about testing its harmlessness and efficiency of its components with respect: finished products are strictly tested for their efficiency and tolerance on more than 4,000 female volunteers every year.


Principle #4: The protected vegetal

Yves Rocher has been no longer testing their products on animal since 1989, received the SPA (Société Protectrice des Animaux) gold medal in 1992 and was labelled on the cruelty-free One-Voice list in 2009. Moreover, in 2008, they launched a "Culture Bio" carbon-compensated product line using South African's solar ovens to fight against global warming.
